Email/ Letter to DGP & Governor of Kerala and Central Home Minister by Sabarimala Action Council
Sir,
Sabarimala has been a centre point of discussion not only in Kerala but across the world.
Taking undue advantage of the supreme court order young ladies mostly with criminal background, even one who is suspected to be involved in Parliament attack, anti social elements and activists have been attempting to enter Sabarimala with a motive to create tension and provocate the devotees. This is still continuing even while I am writing this mail. The temple will be closed tonight (22nd October) after the monthly pooja and all devotees and most of the supporting staff of the temple will leave Sabarimala thereafter.
Considering the current turbulent situation and also the history of destruction of the temple in 1950, previous background of most of the ladies who attempted to enter Sabarimala but failed to do so, there is an apprehension that once the people and temple staff leave, these elements may attempt to create problems at Sannidhanam.
Therefore I would request you to arrange sufficient security to the temple as well as the Chief Priests and others who remain there after closure of temple.
Yours truly,
S J R Kumar
General Convenor
